"Takes more effort than it should"
I’ll be fair and say the software does work once you figure out where everything is, but getting there is the frustrating part. The menus don’t feel very intuitive, pages can be slow to load, and even basic tasks seem to take more clicks than necessary. I found myself asking coworkers where things were more often than I’d like. For a company like Motorola Solutions, I expected the experience to feel a bit more modern and streamlined. It’s usable, but day to day it can be annoying.

"Good service, but the contract details could be easier to find"
The service itself has been fine in my experience, and I haven’t had any major issues using it. The only thing that threw me off was the contract. Some of the renewal fee details felt a bit buried, and I ended up having to ask twice to get a clear answer. Once I understood it, everything made sense, but I’d appreciate the terms being laid out more clearly upfront

"Decent accessories, but a little let down"
I ordered a few accessories for our radios, and overall they seem to be made well. The earpieces feel sturdy and the chargers are working like they should. That said, I was a little disappointed with how long shipping took. It wasn’t the end of the world, but I definitely expected it to arrive sooner. I’d probably still order again if we needed more, but the wait was a bit frustrating.

"video quality is bad"
i was disappointed with the video quality. it looked blurry most of the time and kept lagging, so it just wasn’t a good experience.

"Warranty process dragged on"
The warranty issue did get handled in the end, but it took longer than I expected and the slow back-and-forth definitely made me less confident in the whole process. I’m glad it was resolved, but it did chip away at my trust a bit.

"Pretty good, but not exactly rugged"
I dropped it one time and one of the corners cracked, which was a little disappointing. That said, it still works perfectly fine, so my take is that it’s decent for everyday use, but I wouldn’t count on it being super tough if you’re rough with your stuff

"Pretty helpful docs, maybe a little too much here and there"
I used Motorola Solutions mostly to find product docs and some setup stuff. For the most part, the pages were easy to follow, and the PDFs had basically the info I was looking for. A few things felt kind of tucked away though, so I ended up clicking around more than I thought I would. The search was alright, not amazing or anything. Overall, the documentation was solid enough and helped me get things done without having to call support.

"Support Didn't Really Know What They Were Doing"
I called tech support hoping for a quick fix, but it felt like they were just guessing. I mean, I spent—actually, I wasted most of my afternoon trying the same random suggestions over and over, and nothing really got resolved

"Struggled a bit when scaling"
I had a rough time trying to scale with it. Things just didn’t hold up the way I expected once usage started growing. That said, maybe it works better for smaller setups or with more tuning, but for my situation, scaling was definitely a pain.

"Wish I hadn't done the firmware update"
I really regret trying to update the firmware from motorolasolutions.com. The download took forever, the instructions didn’t line up with what I was seeing on my end, and once it finally updated, the device started acting strange. I ended up wasting way too much time digging around for fixes, and the support pages weren’t much help. i wish I’d just left it alone because something this basic shouldn’t be such a headache.

"Good battery, but cold weather is an issue"
I got a Motorola Solutions radio for work, and the battery has been solid for the most part. It usually lasts through my whole shift without me having to hunt down a charger, even on days when there are a ton of calls.

I’m giving it 4 stars because the battery definitely drops faster when I’m outside in the cold. I mentioned it and kind of felt dismissed, like it wasn’t a big deal, but it’s noticeable when you’re the one using it all day. Still, it’s been way better than my old radio.

"It works, but it’s a little clunky"
I’ve been using the customer portal for the usual stuff, like checking orders and dealing with support things, and it’s fine overall. It does what I need it to do, but getting to certain things takes more clicks than I expected. A couple pages also feel slow sometimes, though I’m not sure if that’s on my end or just the portal. It’s usable, just not as smooth as it could be

"Feels Like It Still Needs Work"
It just felt unfinished to us. We tried getting it set up, but the whole thing felt kind of half-baked, like some pieces were there and others were just missing. Basic stuff our team needed wasn’t available, the reports were limited, and even simple admin controls were harder to find or just not there at all. Maybe it works for some people, but for us it ended up being more hassle than it was worth.

"The training was helpful overall, but..."
The training was helpful overall, but the onboarding felt a little rushed to me. i got through it, just wish there had been a bit more time to settle in and ask questions.

"Solid dispatch tool with a few minor hiccups"
I’ve been using Motorola Solutions for dispatch at work, and to be fair, it’s been reliable most days. Calls usually come through quickly, and the map updates are accurate enough to keep things moving. There have been a few small delays here and there, so I can’t say it’s perfect, but nothing that’s caused any major problems for us. Support was helpful when we needed them, which I appreciate. Overall, I’d give it 4 stars

"We went into this thinking it would be..."
We went into this thinking it would be a solid fit for our team, but once we started looking closer, the price just felt hard to justify. The base cost was already high, and then we realized support wasn’t even included and would cost extra. That was kind of the turning point for us. It started to feel less like we were investing in a helpful tool and more like we were constantly being asked to pay more for the basics. In the end, we just didn’t feel like we were getting enough value for what they were charging.

"I don’t have any hard proof, but my..."
I don’t have any hard proof, but my gut says their data security just isn’t where it should be. I wouldn’t feel comfortable trusting them with anything sensitive.

"Felt like I got stuck dealing with their compatibility mess"
We tried adding their radios into the setup we already had, and it turned into way more of a hassle than it should’ve been. There were all these small compatibility problems that kept popping up, and every time we reached out for help, support basically steered us toward buying more Motorola gear instead of actually helping us make it work. It had that frustrating “they made it my problem” feeling. Definitely felt locked in, not truly interoperable, and I wouldn’t choose it again.

"Decent site, but kind of a hassle"
The website is okay overall, but I had to click around way more than I expected. Some parts were easy enough to understand, but other pages felt crowded and a little confusing, which got annoying fast.

I did eventually find what I was looking for, so it’s not terrible, but the amount of digging for basic info felt kind of ridiculous. It works, but it could definitely be a lot more straightforward.
